Privacy policy
Last updated 3 November 2026.
This page explains what wpthemekit.com keeps about you and why. Questions and requests: [email protected].
What we keep
- Your account: your name and email address, and your password in a form that cannot be read back.
- Your purchases: what you bought, the amount and date, Stripe's reference for the payment, and when you gave consent to immediate delivery. We never see or keep your card details.
- Your license: the key, the domain, and the addresses of the sites using it, with the time each last checked in.
- Support: your tickets, the images you attach to them, and the emails you send us, including from before you had an account.
- Technical records: your IP address, used for a short time to slow down password guessing and form abuse, and ordinary server logs.
Why
- To give you what you bought: the key, the downloads, updates and support.
- To meet legal duties, such as keeping records of sales.
- To keep the site and your account safe.
We send you email only about your account, your purchases and your tickets. We do not send marketing, sell your data, or use it for advertising.
What your site sends us
A site with the plugin asks our update server about the license and new versions, automatically and about every six hours. It sends the license key, the site's address and the versions installed. It sends nothing about your site's visitors.
Who else handles your data
- Stripe takes your payment as the seller of record, and has its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects this site, so your requests pass through it.
- Our hosting providers run the servers for the site and for email.
- Google Drive holds our nightly backups, encrypted so that Google cannot read them.
Some of them may handle data outside your country, under the safeguards the law requires.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in and protects forms, and a second one only tells this site's home page that you are signed in. Cloudflare may add a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots. This site has no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our cookie notice remembers in your browser that you have seen it.
How long
- Your account and tickets stay until you ask us to delete them.
- Sales records stay as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Backups are replaced after about two weeks.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct or delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it where you have that right. Write to the address above; we answer within a month. If your license is still in use, deleting your account also ends your access to the key and support. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
